I am thinking it would nice with a possiblity to write a short text about myself that visitors could see on my profile page.

You can already do that. If you go to your profile and hit the “Edit”-button under your name/flag/picture you can modify the profile page - and that includes an “About yourself”-window under the rank-graph.
