I know you are joking, but it’s funny you should ask!
I am creating a series of 15 sets. I plan to give them to the different Go associations, keep one or two for myself and my club, and then sell the rest as a limited-edition art project. They would look fantastic displayed on a go board in a place like the Nihon Ki-in, for example.
I also plan on a book with it, suggesting different possible rulesets to take advantage of the pieces being used, how to add to the collection, how to make your own, etc. I believe each set has over 200 pieces of each color now, so you could still play if you put aside all of the egregiously over or undersized pieces.

Lol I recognize those! Mine are from a resin printer at my local hackerspace, so no filament poopmojis. But maybe you could try them as stones anyway?

I think this could be the final version of the Chaos Go Sets, at least for the time being! Over 370 stones of each color (including about a dozen tiny beads)! Enough to play two or three games at once, or to curate the sets as needed. I really haven’t been able to come up with anything else that would make sense to add (other than clean shell and slate and stones from the 2025 US Go Congress, which will be added shortly). I did finally get the Ing Foundation and visually impaired stones in there. Yunzi, maybe? There are porcelain single convex at least. I am bringing a set to the Congress tomorrow and will have extra stones to sell as ‘Joke Stones’, but if anyone is going and wants to see a Chaos Set, just find me there.
Also, if anyone has feedback on the collection I would love to hear it! 15 almost matching sets were made in total.
I am so glad to finally have this project in the bag, mor or less. Thanks to everyone who helped or gave feedback! The related book will be the next step from here…

They make smaller rubber/plastic ducks in a variety of colors
Also, it’s possible to obtain tiny plastic baby figurines, as these are common novelty items for baby showers

During Crazy Go at the Congress I showed off the Chaos Go Set for the first time. We played Zen Go. The center board is the board and the side boards are the “bowls”.

I love how even with this Chaos Go set, the players seem to have been careful to respect the sacred rule of putting captures in the lids

A quick update on the project. One set was gifted to the Nihon Ki-In in January, and another one was sent to Europe in trade. As has become tradition, here are the floor stones from the 2026 US Go Congress in Boston to be added to each set.
