Is there a way to get a notification when my tournament starts, if I'm not playing in the tournament?

What the title says.

Basically, I start a new tournament in this group Handicap Arena when (sooner or later…) the previous one starts. It’s a bit tiring to have to visit the group all the time and scroll all the way to see if the latest tournament is still open or started.

So, anyone has any ideas about how I could get a notification when each new tournament starts? Maybe it could be a group notification, not a tournament notification. Or maybe it could be a workaround and not an OGS thing necessarily, open to ideas (just don’t tell me to go github myself).

As usual, forgive my slow comprehension and checking.

Are the ones that you want notification for tournaments that you created?

If so, that sounds very doable and reasonable - it translates to “please notify the tournament creator as well as participants”.

If that isn’t right, then can you clarify how we know which tournaments you want to be notified about?

I was going to suggest that I implement this by forcing the TD to participate - then they’d get notified :rofl: :goblin:
