Is there a way to turn on sound for chat messages?

Is there a way to turn on sound for chat messages? I sometimes don’t notice them and then miss undo requests, which is understandably annoying to the other player, especially when its an obvious misclick. I feel bad when I notice too late and I have sometimes had rude comments.
If not could it be possible to add this?

There is a specific sound for “undo requested”. Do you have that enabled in settings?

That feature is turned on. Perhaps I have sound too low

I recently played too quickly to accept my opponents undo request but in such a situation you can request an undo yourself and then grant theirs. They stack.

I find there is a problem with sounds that they sometimes don’t play or play inaudibly quietly. I only get about 50% of stone sounds for example.
There are various threads about sound bugs so that could also be the issue.
