You’ll now have an input field near your pass button where you can enter the coordinates you wish to place at:
Simply type the move and press enter! If you have submit-to-move enabled, you might want to enable the Autofocus submit button option as well so you can press enter, then enter again to actually submit the stone.
Aside from accessibility, it can be used to play blindfolded! (although this also needs the moves to be read out, which I think we don’t have official support for yet, but I seem to remember someone making an extension for it?)
No i mean integrated. IIRC those headsets use eyetracking as input. And they support browser and iPhone apps. Put them together and you have OGS with your eyes!
“Don’t touch the stones until you’re sure where to play” → “Don’t touch the mouse until you’re sure where to play” → don’t think about your move until you’re sure where to play???
well, “pass” is different in different languages which is why I avoided that, but also you can hit ‘tab’ to advance to the pass button and press enter, so there’s no need to use the mouse - does that meet your needs?
Yes I actually did that today.
But still was wondering if writing was possible.
But because of different languages it seems like it’s possibility a waste of time to implement
