Keyboard shortcut question

When in analysis mode, I frequently find myself wanting to navigate to the current variation root to try something different. If there are branches off branches I don’t care, just rewind to the in-game move at which the variation split. Of course, we can tap-tap-tappity-tap arrow keys but this seems laborious worlds saddest violin plays. We can also click on the move number in the branch tree, but branches quickly scroll the root out of view. I could shift-P then F1, but this returns to the current game move which has usually moved on.

I’m likely influenced by AI sensei’s behavior where we can explore variations, then stab the “return to game” button. This rewinds to where the fantasy moves started, no need to even see a tree.

I suppose it would have been documented if it were a thing, but just checking…

Not that I’m aware of. There’s keys to exit analyse mode and go back to play mode but they probably won’t keep the position of the game where the analysis started.

There is the page up button to go back ten moves at a time, or just holding down the arrow key to move very fast backward through the tree.
