I am in Ladders. I have multiple “Challengings” and “Challenged by” players. One of players is shown # -1 ranked in Ladders. How could this be possible? All players in Ladders are ranked from 1 to 3561 as today.
He’s been kicked out (because of timeout in another ladder game) or he did drop off.
In such cases, games in progress are still valid but they don’t affect ladder’s ranking anymore.
He could still join again the ladder though, and those games would again be affecting rankings.
