On phone the new design layout has the board and submit button too far away. The board shows up at the bottom of the screen, making it awkward to look at the board and then submit.

I found the same issue, but when I refresh the page, the board is back at the top. This means it must be fixable.
With me this happens on an Android Phone, using Chrome.
I’ve been told this is a bug, and not intentional.

Anoek, this is still heppning to me on Chrome, Android 4.3. Interestingly game pages only load this way when I get to them by pressing the green move notifier/button. If I access a game from elsewhere the page loads correctly.

Hmm, you shouldn’t have a green button anymore - it’s now either black or white - which makes me think maybe you might still have an old version cached or something? Can you try reloading and seeing if you still have the issue?
