I recommend that you spend much more time to think about your moves then. If you can just avoid making the obvious mistakes, you’ll jump way ahead! Here’s one thing that might help. Select “Submit-move button” for all games in your game settings:
So then you can click on a move you think is good and see what it’s going to look like. Take your hand off the mouse and give yourself at least 10 seconds to consider it before you submit. Do this for every single move. How does that sound?
