Looking for teaching game for 25-30k.

I’m starting to get disillusioned with how bad I’m performing against the easiest bots. Would love to get help on improving play. Can’t beat easiest bots on any board size and my elo is prob <250 and dropping at this point. Help pls

I recommend playing against real people - if possible. Computers cant copy human play and sometimes play very weird. I think the learn effect is different.
There is also a lot material for ddk players in the internet in form of videos e.g. . You can check out similar topics to this one in the forum to see more detailed answers.

Feel free to send me a game invite for a correspondence game and I will try my best to teach a few fundementals. Live games may be hard for me time wise currently.

Edit: I forgot to mention that game reviews are a great way to get feedback if you want to ask for one.

add me, i’d be willing to give a teaching game. be warned, I’m only 12k, but i think i would have plenty to share with a beginner

Go is a really difficult game to approach. For everyone, don’t get mad if you feel to be lost. Persistence is key, play and play.

We can play together but it will be much more fun for you if you play with other beginners. Hope you find some here on OGS.
And stop playing bots , of course.

I recommend Michael Redmond 9p and Clossius on Youtube. If you want a demo, tell me your availability and I will give a step by step game.

I’m on Japan time, so anytime during business hours then would work for me. Sometimes I’m up late to overlap with North America, if your offer is still open.

I’m having a lot of trouble with reading positions and not getting cornered. Puzzles don’t seem to help me cause I don’t see those positions in game until it’s too late and/or I don’t know how to play them with the time limit.

so
If business starts at 08:00 JST that’s 23:00 UTC (previous day) or 7pm US Eastern (previous day).
If business ends at 17:00 JST that’s 08:00 UTC or 4 am US Eastern.

That’s not a problem, anytime this week is good until 15:00 JST
