Богомолы бывают разных видов.Есть Азиатский, обычный, древесный.они разного цвета.Сам богомол кукла.Ей управляет черный червь.богомолы хищники.охотится из засады.У нас в Сочи я видел только древесного и обычного.Честно они крутые.

AFAIK this mostly happens in captivity where the male has no chance to flee.
