I’ll have to come back if and when I see the pattern, but when I log in from different computers, I’m seeing messages from other players reappear on the main screen after I’ve already read/cleared them on the other computer.

it’s a known issue with our current chat system. We really plan to work on the Chat system at some time in the future and give it some love, but as anoek and matburt are currently deep into coding more important stuff, the chat messages popping up will probably still happen in the close future.
