It would be great if OGS had a Connect Five (Gomoku) game mode that users can access from Home page. A simple queue with standard rules and quick matchmaking would be perfect for fast games alongside regular Go.

I get so disappointed when I see a Go board, then realize it’s 5-in-a-row 
Did you have some strong motivation to play it here? I think it’s not so hard to find a Gomoku site online..

In weiqi clubs I visited, you’ll have much more chances to see mahjong or even cards games as gomoku.

I voted NO but I can understand the request, as the first Go sets I encountered )(German Ravensburger cardboard sets) were named “Go und Gobang”, Gobang being another name for Gomoku.
The reason why I voted NO is that there are MANY other things that would be MUCH more important before we implement a Gomoku mode – and IMHO one of them would be an “Atari Go” aka “Capture Go” mode.
