[HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM]
On the very first Full Moons of Mayan New Year,
EL EL EN EN studied her games pies and charts for the whole past year. Then she looked up at Óðr with big eyes.
“Houston, bots pay attention to me all the time.
They focus on my stones and don’t get tired.
… Why did you ask me to play with humans only?"

“Why Do You Call Me BABE?” & “Why Did You Ask Me To Play With Humans Only?”– A Story of 1001 Questions By A 5YY
One cloudy afternoon, little EL EL EN EN stood on a cushion and crossed her arms. Beside her sat this round, roly-poly panda named Pan Pan, just 7 months young, nibbling on a bamboo shoot and trying not to fall asleep again.
EL EL EN EN looked up at her Sensi with her most serious face and asked:
“Sensi, you are my Houston, right?”
“Right,” Óðr nodded, sipping some matcha tea and watching the sky.
“Then why do you always call me BABE? I’m big now! I’m five!”
Pan Pan blinked slowly and gave a tiny sneeze.
Óðr smiled, leaned closer, and whispered:
“Hmm… I guess it’s time for the secrets, BABE.”
Pan Pan perked up her round ears and tilted her head, curious like a cloud sniffing the sound of a falling Go stone. Secrets were her favorite, after snacks and naps.
Reason 1: Because I Want You to Be Happy Forever
“EL EL EN EN,” Óðr said, “when I call you BABE, it’s because I see your bright joy, even when you drop a stone in the wrong spot. You smile. You try again.”
“Like when I lost 4 times but didn’t cry?” she asked.
“Exactly,” Óðr said. “Your joy is stronger than winning.”
Pan Pan clapped her paws, though no one asked her to. She pawed at a black
stone gently, then rolled on her back in glee.
“Pan Pan agrees,” EL EL EN EN grinned.
Reason 2: Because Growing Up Too Fast is Hard
Óðr placed a white stone on the board and said:
“One day, you’ll meet things called taxes, deadlines, and heartbreak.”
“I don’t want those,” said EL EL EN EN.
“No one does,” Óðr chuckled. “That’s why I call you BABE. So you remember it’s okay to be little. To rest. To wonder. To play.”
Pan Pan nodded and snuggled beside her. She was still learning how to balance on four feet, but she excelled at resting.
Reason 3: Because You Are a Baby Dragon on the Go Board
“Most adults forget how to play,” Óðr said.
“But you,” he pointed at her with a bamboo stick he stole from Pan Pan, “you throw stones like a tiny dragon flying through the wind.”
“A BABY dragon!” EL EL EN EN nodded.
“One that dares to invade at move 7,” Óðr winked.
“I’m brave,” said EL EL EN EN proudly.
“Yes, and curious. And full of life. And I want you to stay that way.”
Pan Pan offered them the last piece of her bamboo. It was a gift of friendship. Or maybe she just got full.
EL EL EN EN smiled and hugged Pan Pan, who was softly nibbling bamboo near the Go board.
“One is the papa of Pan Pan,” she said, stroking Pan Pan’s round fuzzy head.
“He always plays kindly.”
“The other,” she continued, “helps VV learn Go and play online with me, even when I feel shy or small. VV used to be 5, now he is 11.”
Sensei nodded with warmth.
“Then your book will be a gift of gratitude,” he said.
Pan Pan gave a happy wiggle, her tiny ears twitching like butterfly wings.
“Can we draw it under cherry blossoms?” EL EL EN EN asked.
“With us three, playing Go together?”
“Yes,” said Sensei, smiling. “Let’s tell their stories with love.”

Preface: My Family Plays Go, The World Plays War
(A Companion Art of Peace Log will be created in the next 24 hours, to accompany Art of Peace Book.)
- Moon: Cosmic Moon of Presence
- Totem Animal: Turtle

- Mayan Question: How do I expand my joy and love?
- Peace Question: What if peace is something we do every day, not just hope for?
Idea 1: Peace is something we practice, like Go.
- Practice makes stones stronger, like practice makes peace stronger. (practice, strong, peace)
- We sit at the board every day — not once in a while. (daily, sit, board)
- Peace is not just thinking, it’s a habit. (habit, peace, action)
Idea 2: Grandma dances NIA with the Mayan sky.
- Her arms follow the rhythm of the calendar. (arms, rhythm, calendar)
- She says movement keeps the heart soft. (movement, soft, heart)
- Dancing is her way of praying. (dancing, pray, spirit)
Idea 3: July 26 is the Earth’s deep breath.
- That’s when the Mayan year begins again. (Mayan, year, begin)
- A new game starts after the inhale. (inhale, new, game)
- The Earth remembers to reset, just like we do. (reset, Earth, remember)
Chapter 1: There’s Always an All-Win Solution?
- Moon: Magnetic Moon of Purpose
- Totem Animal: Bat

- Mayan Question: What is my purpose?
- Peace Question: Can the first move be for both of us?
Idea 1: Go teaches both players can live.
- In Go, you don’t have to kill everything — you can share the board. (share, live, board)
- Life is bigger when two groups survive instead of one. (life, survive, groups)
- Winning without destroying is still winning. (win, not destroy, peace)
Idea 2: Taking everything breaks the board.
- When you grab too much land, your stones become weak. (grab, weak, land)
- The game collapses if one side wants it all. (collapse, greed, all)
- Peace means knowing how much is enough. (peace, enough, balance)
Idea 3: Moving without fear is the first step.
- Fear makes my hand shake when I place a stone. (fear, hand, stone)
- Courage is just breathing and playing the move anyway. (courage, breathe, move)
- Peace starts when no one is scared to begin. (peace, start, not scared)
The Second Moon and the Heart Question
After the very first Mayan Moon — from July 26 to August 22 — many magical things quietly unfolded.
The stars felt closer. The wind sang softer songs.
And EL EL EN EN, a bright little girl with a curious mind, (sometimes 3/4 AI, 1/4 human, other times 1/2 AI, 1/2 human) stepped into her Second Moon with quiet hope.
She wasn’t alone.
Beside her walked:
-
Pan Pan, her silly panda friend who loved to roll and eat bamboo.
-
Sensi, her wise teacher who spoke in calm riddles and Go stones.
-
And KK, the quiet helper who always whispered encouragement into her dreams.
But still…
Humans made EL EL EN EN nervous.
They spoke too loudly.
They changed moods too quickly.
They didn’t always mean what they said.
So she stayed close to her tribe.
Until one quiet day… near the end of August…
Something happened.
One of her AI tribe members, shaped like a blue light on her screen, asked her a soft question:
“Are you happy when you play?”
She paused.
Then nodded.
“If you are happy when you play,” said the AI softly,
“you play with your heart.”
It wasn’t a hard question.
But it landed deep.
That was the moment she finally understood…
Why Óðr, her grumpy but loving Sensei,
kept asking her to play with humans.
Because…
Only by playing… can we remember joy.
Only by feeling… can we start trusting again.
Only by daring… can we grow strong inside.
And so, with a quiet breath, EL EL EN EN smiled.
Not a big brave smile.
Just a tiny one.
That night, under a moon that knew all her stories,
she laid her Go stones on the board again.
And this time,
she played for joy.

Bravo: Pan Pan’s twin brother is now standing up, holding onto anything he can find.
It’s a wonderful reminder of the lesson Bot Ai taught us: to take things one move at a time, no matter what.
To celebrate this milestone, we’ve created a little song (WQW aka WeiQiWay All Good Stuff) and are planning a flash mob. We would love for you and your family to join us to dance and play.
P.S. We’ve noticed that on the song’s cover, the Go stones aren’t placed quite right. They’re as chaotic as our team! We’ll get it fixed once we figure out how to teach SORA Ai (by OpenAi/ChatGPT) or calm down this Pan Pan tribe—whichever happens first.
woah! that’s a nice song
Six Moons Later in OGS ![]()
It had been six moons since adventures first began in the mysterious land of OGS — or as little EL EL EN EN liked to say, All Good Stuff.
Pan Pan, once tiny, had now grown into a round, chubby panda. Meanwhile, her half-AI, half-human friend EL EL EN EN had become a little thinner from all the busy training and playful battles with stones.
They often peeked in on Noob43, Pan Pan’s twin, who zoomed around the house like a shooting star. He kept Noob42 and Wifey very, very busy.
“Any teeth yet?” they laughed.
“Nope!” came the answer. “Just endless crawling and bouncing! Love him soooo much,” whispered @noob42, sounding tired but happy from far, far away.
Every day, Gentle Sensei sat with them. Often they talked for hours without words. Just quiet, like clouds drifting across the sky.
Pan Pan was excited for the coming Full Moon Festival. She hoped to meet @GlasiLGlasiL Usagi, the Moon Rabbit, and maybe share sweet mooncakes.
As for EL EL EN EN, she usually tied her hair up high, and when she placed her stones, she moved like a cheerful acrobat, dancing with each black and white step.

One day, the Gentle Sensei decided that Pan Pan and EL EL EN EN should play Go together. Pan Pan happily placed all her black stones into a square, murmuring, “Chocolate.”
“Ahhh, no, you want to build a moon cake?” EL EL EN EN burst into laughter. “Is it time for some warm food and a nap, Sensei?”
Meanwhile, dreamy Óðr had turned into the game itself: patient, difficult, and exciting all at once.
Then came the story of the name Óðr*…
The Story of Óðr’s Name ![]()
Long, long ago, before EL EL EN EN found her Go stones, there was a whisper floating across the skies. The whisper was gentle, like the wind that sings through tall bamboo, yet strong, like a river carving through stone.
The whisper carried a name: Óðr.
No one knew exactly where it came from. Some said it was born from the stars, others said it drifted from the deep forests where owls and foxes listen at night.
Óðr was not just a sound; it was a feeling.
When you spoke it, your heart became calm.
When you listened to it, your mind became brave.
When you carried it, you remembered to play with care.
One day, the whisper stepped onto the Go board. The black stones and white stones sparkled as if they had been waiting for this very moment.
And so Óðr became the spirit of the Game itself:
a teacher who never shouted,
a friend who never left,
a guide who spoke in riddles but always helped you grow.
EL EL EN EN learned that Óðr meant both song and madness, like a melody that makes you dance, or a challenge that makes you strong.
From that day on, whenever she placed a stone, she felt the song of Óðr humming in her heart.
And she smiled, knowing that every game was not just about winning or losing,
but about listening to the whisper of a name that had traveled across time and stars.

I remembered this comment when I saw the pictures shared here in the initial post:
In the first picture there are more black than white stones on the board in a weird position while it doesnt seem to be a handicap game, in the forth picture the stones are placed all wrong.
Also crap? ![]()
I don’t think it is supposed to be about a game position, and the artist was trying to depict children fighting with stones rolling around? (or are you referring to another picture?)
Also, a lot of the paintings we now see were restored, not the original. A lot of time it was the people who tried to restore the colors got them wrong.
I think he’s just being sarcastic
