My homepage and profile page are lagging!

Since last night, whenever I enter the homepage or profile page, I have to wait about 5 seconds before I can see my games or information.

Since I don’t use “automatically advance to the next game after moving” and “the small black circle in the upper right corner”.
Instead, I am used to returning to the homepage to select the next game to move in my own way (for example, moving the game with the most moves first), which causes me a lot of trouble.
If I have to wait 5 seconds every time I return to the homepage, then I will waste 1000 seconds by moving 200 times, which is equivalent to 16 minutes and 40 seconds. This is really painful!

It’s the 200 active games that take a while to load the data for.

It’s taking us 4s to collect all that information (in the player/xx/full route) and return it to your browser.

@anoek FYI

Okay, I get it.
But the problem is that I didn’t seem to have to wait this long before, even though I had 200 games.
The most I had was 250 games, but at that time I only had to wait about a second.
I don’t know what happened, whether it was due to a server update.

Yeah that’s why I pinged anoek … curiously, the console has a lot of messages from the renderer, though there’s nothing to render (which is what it is saying).

Same here. Today it takes unusually longer to load the games on my homepage

It’s getting worse, now it’s 12 seconds, help!

I reckon use the “circle” for a while till it gets sorted… whatever it is won’t be solved in the coming minutes ~or hours.

Can’t you leave your home page open on a tab and “control click” or whatever it is on the game you want to play, to open that one in a new tab, so you don’t have to reload the home page? This works for me (Cmd-click on a Mac).

in case you are concerned, all your games have at least 2 days on your clock, and if you are especially concerned, you also have 28 days of vacation available. I am sure the problem will be resolved before either time.

Sorry all, I was running a script to collect some stats for some data analysis and it was hammering one of our databases a bit too hard and slowing things down. Performance should be back to normal now.
