Wow! Great reading.

“Myosu is a Korean term meaning ‘excellent move’.”

Looks like we’re not the only ones who borrow Go words from Japanese.

And obviously, really cool magazine and big thanks to Myosu. I also noticed that article from Bill Spight, vice-doyen of Sensei’s Library.

It’s so amazing that they have a “Go University” No wonder we suck at this game

These are great reads indeed! Many thanks to the editors.

Unfortunately, they don’t appear at very high frequency, and I’d love more reading material. Not just about the games, but also about the culture, the professional leagues, the people and their background etc. Does anyone know if something like that (newsletter, magazine, YouTube channel, podcast, whatever) exists in English?

Hmm,
I am not able to access their website,
does OP @BHydden have a copy of 3rd issue?
do you mind to share?

The site seems to have been taken over by some laser hair removal or something … maybe they went out of business :frowning:

;___; RIP, it’s gone to the same place as GoGameGuru.

So… what does this mean? I have all three issues somewehre on my yottabyte holocrystal … if anybody knows the creators of Myosu, maybe we can ask whether we can put them up somewhere?

If the business is dead then no-one has the authority to ask us to take them down :stuck_out_tongue:

Depends on who owns the copyright … a person or a business, I’d think.

I’ve asked on their Facebook page.

I have all 3 as well, but for some reason experienced issues posting them here in the forum :stuck_out_tongue:

The first two issues were also archived by the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine

The PDF download links from those snapshots work for downloading the files.

Unfortunately, the third issue does not seem to be captured

Sure, that would be nice, thanks :3

I think as a mod you already have access to my email address?

No, @bugcat, I can’t remember having seen a notification … but the #corona crisis rose over my horizon then and I might just have clicked it “read” :pensive:
