Since the new interface, games are spontaneously started. What have you done?
Also, why doesn’t the START button take me to the (only) active game anymore? Why is there a largely “empty” screen with the last game on the left. Can I get my old screen back please.
Perhap you use the Spacebar to scroll and the focus is on the first button?
No, I never use the spacebar to scroll, I always scroll by swiping two fingers up and down
Did you maybe clicked the quick match finder for correspondence game by accident? from your game history, i can see your two previous games have started via quick mach finder (the games are automatically named as “user1 vs. user2”)
Yes I probably did in an attempt to find my active game! The only things that are visible on the “Start” screen apart from a diagram of the last game played are 3 buttons:
I didn’t want to go to my last game, so I figured that I should hit the “Play” button, because I did not want to start a new game, nor play against the computer. But apparently this is a shortcut to start a new game. I don’t think this is intuitive. For me it would help a lot if this “Play” button would say “Quick start new game” or something to this effect, since this is what it apparently does, right?
