Nice – did you create this yourself?

And why is this in Go Classifieds?

Yeah I did!

Well I wasn’t sure where to post it so searched for “art” and I found some posts on the classified section. So that’s why? Is there a better spot to post? Pretty new to OGD forum.

Thanks!

I like it very much too!

This is the description of the “classifieds” category:

So if you wish I can move your post somewhere else?
(Unless you plan to sell it)

Thanks I’m glad you like it. What would be a better for it?

If it’s not something you intend to sell then General Go Discussion might be a better place.

As a quick side-track, my brain began to reel when I thought about the prospect of actually playing on a 2x2 board…

The moves shown above are the only options for moves 1 and 2 that do not create an immediate atari. The current position is seki - so assuming there is any kind of komi for white, white will always win

However, if either side attempts another move, it will lead to a never-ending series of atari threats and snap-backs leading to repeats of the same seki position - for all eternity…

I think if you continue under area scoring with superko and no komi, Black wins by a point.

I made a demo board just to try to figure this out

Can you help me understand where the super-ko would kick in? Is it Move 7?

@tonybe you can also try it here (just set the width and height to 2) - it notifies when you would repeat a position.

Seems like it’s important to make the right choice on move 5, and white is prevented from continuing after move 9

You can make the demo board with Chinese or AGA rules also and those have superko

GOT IT - I actually figured out a way to play 24 moves before a board state was repeated, but yes, I see it now

lol I didn’t meant for it all to become so metaphysical but I like the train of thought
