In my game:
it’s my opponent’s turn but the game is in my list of games where it’s my turn.
I’m concerned my opponent is unaware it’s their turn

Yes - there are various reports of this issue.
You can message your opponent - better to do it with general messaging rather than the in-game chat, so they will definitely get notified.
