I don’t recall exactly why I added this word to the block list, but the usage of it is why you got that message. I’ll ponder on it and remove it if I can’t remember why I did so.

if its not possible to have separate block list for game title and nicknames, its bug

It appears that no one took offense to the title. The block was an automatic function that was instituted some time earlier due to an unrelated event.
However, in today’s world, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone did object to “Perimeter System” as a title that intimidates. The term refers to a Soviet automated defense system that would guarantee “mutually assured destruction” (i.e., nuclear apocalypse). There is reason to believe that Russia still employs this system.
The system is a techno version of a “dead hand” bomb threat, an idea that goes back at least to Joseph Conrad’s 1907 novel, The Secret Agent.

lmao. At that point we better ban the term “war” and “genocide” as being intimidating. I guess we can’t say Hitler started a war or committed a genocide, so the reasonable conclusion from the data that’s left is that he’s gotten an unfairly bad rap

I would be surprised if a significant number of people found it offensive, yes.
Now, if you literally meant “someone”, then no I wouldn’t be surprised, but I wouldn’t have been surprised in the past either. You’ll always find someone to be offended by anything.
I liked the reference to Joseph Conrad though.

What bro? The game title is pertaining to a military system the Russians have known to us as the dead hand.
Look up the Russian dead hand and get back to me.
It has already been established this has nothing to do with the Russian dead hand, or any “woke” notion, so I’m not sure what you expect back.

To make something productive of this thread, can I suggest the message when you make a game name with an unallowed title is made more accurate to avoid OP’s misunderstanding. It’s currently:
Sorry that name might be offensive to some players, please pick a different one
More accurate and short is to simply state not allowed without attempting to explain why (incorrectly)
Sorry that name is not allowed, please pick a different one.
Or explain more accurately :
Sorry that name is not allowed, as some players may find it offensive, or it could be confused for an official OGS message. Please pick a different one.
(are they are other reasons for banned words that need explaining?)
I think short and sweet is better, telling them why banned tempts cheeky people to try to circumvent the banned list to achieve the listed reason.
