Recently I have been having issues with OGS connection where the red indicator on the top right keeps appearing for a prolonged time. Sometimes it will just go away after a while, sometimes I need to keep refreshing for it to go away. It appears when I try to load a game screen.
Is anyone else having the same issue?
Anyone with connection problems of their own computer or connection problems of their entire country have it.
(Country problems may look like that some sites don’t work, while other still work.

The red indicator says “I’m not hearing from the OGS sever at the moment” or “I’m only hearing from the OGS server very slowly” (it can be hard to tell the difference).,
It could be for any reason - including user’s local internet connection is slow or down and including OGS servers being down.
OGS servers being down would be a rare case though, and you’d expect to read about that here and in OGS chat (or see OGS chat down).
I think the OP is asking a specific question, not a general one like “why might this happen”.
I personally am not experiencing this at the moment - I think that for “real time questions” like this, OGS chat is probably better: that’s where the people are talking about “what is happening right now”.
I realised that the issue happens more often when I open a new tab, but when I open the game in the existing tab, the issue doesn’t happen.
About the chat, I don’t use it frequently so I’m not sure what’s the best channel to chat. Is it the English channel?
