The OGS Honinbo 2017 was announced on May 29 and started on June 1st, giving players only 3 days to register.
I only read the news today and missed the deadline. I wish the announcement had been made a little bit earlier, at least a week or two before the start date.

Sorry for that! I was a bit busy lately so didn’t manage to make the announcement earlier. The tournament was actually created two months ago, therefore many players have registered before the announcement. But you’re right, I’ll make the announcement (the final call) at least a week ahead next time.
