OGS Joseki Explorer - new backend transition complete

Just a note to let you know that at long last the transition to the new backend for OJE is complete.

This means that everyone is now using the new backend, even if you accidentally or deliberately switched to the old one previously.

My experience with it is that the goals have mostly been achieved - it seems way snappier now … in fact, I’m only aware of one joseki sequence where I can experience any “spinning wheel delay” at all. Better than “the competition”

FWIW, since the new backend went in, it has been serving about 20,000 positions per day, roughly constant except for New Year’s and what appears to be a big burst that I put down to Josekele pulling position information (just a guess).

I never use it, but you’ve mentioned after rengo that you wanted to do this, so :+1:t2::slightly_smiling_face:
