The first Fast Correspondence tournament under the OGS Teaching Ladder group is now open to registration here
The tournament starts August 1st and is expected to end late September or early October. Players will need to make an average of at least 10 moves per day, or negotiate a pause with their opponent. Please note that any timeouts will result in automatic disqualification. This is a sitewide rule and there is nothing I can do about it.
The tournament setup is a McMahon of 3 rounds. The more the merrier! If we get sufficient interest, a second tournament will be scheduled for early September.
The Live tournament is now also open to registration. It is a simultaneous McMahon where you are paired with 3 people you can play live games with over the course of ~1 week, repeated for 3 rounds. If you are interested, you can register here
