So I’ve joined three of the 9x9 tournaments in the last few days and have enjoyed them. But I notice that with the sliding pairing method, I am always paired with players who are far stronger than me. I don’t mind losing my games, but I’d like the experience of playing opponents who are more at my level. Or alternatively, I’d like a handicap so I have some kind of chance of being competitive.
Is there any chance of a change in one of these directions?
