Round 14

Team White, it occurs to me that we’ve established a relatively secure cutting line, separating Black into a top group and a bottom group.

We don’t have much in terms of secure territory or eyespace yet. And there is one place left where we can be (majorly) cut.

It seems to me that the only winning chance for Team White is to try to capture Team Blacks top group (the bottom seems too strong). What do you think about aiming for this goal together?

Sounds good. Maybe some of us can start by killing brown?

I’ll try to block a black connection on the very right.

Is there a reason not to fix our cutting point right away?

@benjito, what do you think?

sounds good - just to be super clear, you’re talking about me filling this point?

Yes!

Dumb question, but how exactly do we kill them? :sweat_smile:

Remove all their liberties before they remove ours. :sweat_smile:

I guess there are some secondary color groups that can die too. Not necessarily in our favor tho…

Like i think red dying would be good for us, but blue would be bad

Let’s start by filling outside liberties, and limit the eye-space as much as possible.

Hm, I have three options. Help reducing blacks liberties on the top, connect on the left, or take care of pinks liberty shortage on the right. I don’t know what should be the priority.

Connecting on the left seems valueable to me.
