Parallel Fractional Go Game 6

Team white, it looks mighty tempting to try to capture that brown chain.

@garlicsoup I’m thinking of connecting my stones at the bottom to your white chain on the lower-right.

Meanwhile team black is getting close to connecting their stones at the top-right, and potentially preparing to capture the magenta chain in the vicinity.

@Sadaharu and @Jon_Ko, what is your plan up there? (And can I help?)

Trying my best to kill the purple group

Okay, I hope @Jon_Ko is not trying to save it!

@martin3141 did you want to capture the red group? If I fill in H2 it can be captured at F1

At first I was connecting black underneath, then I was cutting of white, preventing it to connect underneath too. All on the first line, so also removing liberties from pink.

I could remove more liberties on the first line, but it doesn’t seem that efficient as it is some sort of suicide.

I don’t know if there’s time, but maybe you and @Tschej could collaborate to capture some Blue and save Brown on the bottom.

Let’s try it :slightly_smiling_face:

I think there’s not enough room for green and pink to both live on the right side. Most of the green stones will live as black but not necessarily as green.

Meanwhile the idea of making 5 eyes sounds like a tall order, though I suppose there are ways for a team to share an eye between colors.

@JohnnieDarko I don’t really understand your last move in light of my above comment, do we need to coordinate our strategy?

No, my bad, I had a brainfart there. My next move is already out of the way, sorry for making that difficult.
