Paused game still timed out bug

I was winning my game, and then my opponent said he was having net problems and couldn’t move. I paused the game for him and suggested he try to quit and come back. I wait a few minutes, and then all of a sudden the game ends and it says I lost on time, even though I had at least 2 minutes left.

Were you watching the game window at the time? Is it possible your opponent unpaused the game without you noticing?

Yeah, I was watching the whole time. The game was paused, and my opponent left and came back. It was still paused when the game suddenly said I timed out. I had no connectivity issues the whole game.
