This is happening more frequently to me. I am seeking a live game and using default settings for game parameters. What can be done to address this?

I’m assuming this is about live games but I just wanted to check because for correspondence games this is normal.

Regrettably some people create a challenge, and then walk away from computer while it is looking, perhaps to get a drink or something. If they leave the browser window open there isn’t much we can do to test for this, but hopefully in most cases they hear the game start notification and return quickly.
