To give a serious answer to your joking question, covid saw a big influx of users, which means more beginners who need help and more trolls who need watching. On top of that our mods are still human and have all experienced increased IRL loads like pretty much everyone has recently, and so many of us simply cannot be here as frequently as we once were 
hopefully the higher number of intakes can spread the load out more evenly so none of them feel too burdened individually
