please review my game. i thought i had a far lead, so i played safe and then something happen and then i lost by only a few points.
What move did you think you were winning, and which move did you realize you were losing? More detailed answers can be given if people know the range.

You were losing tactically when your opponent captured that lower right corner. I’m sure you noticed. 
More importantly, you let your opponent dictate the flow of the game at critical spots.
If you can detach yourself from the urge to save every soldier and if you can find the courage to force your own aims through, the other player will not have so many opportunities to catch you off guard with their preferred style of play, especially such a wacky and haphazard one as was white’s in this game.
