[Poll] Multilingual support for Weiqi Roadmap

Recently I got a few DMs about making my Weiqi Roadmap multilingual.
So far I got offered help translating to 5ish languages.
But I don’t really wanna start implementing the multilingual features cause it requires quite a bit of time  and me figuring out a proper way without breaking the current site.
So below is the poll, if there’s enough people that wants it translated in multiple languages I’d start working on implementation and once it’s done I’ll reach out to the kind helpers to start translating.
Also those who are interested, you won’t have to translate everything from scratch, I’ll use AI to translate it so you can just proofread and make sure its sending the intended meaning in your language.
Thank you for your time <3

  • Yes, I can help translate.
  • Yes
  • Just English is fine

I am obviously always in favour of multilingual features and voted “yes”, but always keep in mind that it is your project and it has its own, well, roadmap and goals that we, the voters, are unaware of.

If you think that something would detract too much time and resources then, despite what we might vote, you’d have to put it in the appropriate spot in your backlog.
High or low priority? Noone knows.
That would be your decision based on data and facts that only you, as the project owner, can have.

A bit of caution there: That might gain you more people complaining about AI usage and translations, than actual readers/users… Only one translator used AI in my project and the result was, acording to some feedback that I got, horrible.

  1. My project goals will continue as is, cause I’ll leave the locale based posts to the contributors’ Good hands
  2. Yeah this is why I need more people to proofread, because I won’t post that in a specific language till it has been confirmed by a native cause I don’t trust AI

Edit, I actually figured out how to implement the multilingual infra about 8 hours ago  had hiccups with some parts and a South Korean person helped some time ago so it works in the test now
