Currently links to OGS page (except for links to the forum) have the same preview, i.e., for example online-go.com looks like this here as well as elsewhere, like Facebook and probably most other places on the Web:
Online-Go.com is the best place to play the game of Go online. Our community supported site is friendly, easy to use, and free, so come join us and play some Go!
But there are certain “special” pages that would much better be displayed differently, like for example online-go.com/learn-to-play-go , which looks just the same :
Online-Go.com is the best place to play the game of Go online. Our community supported site is friendly, easy to use, and free, so come join us and play some Go!
IMO it would be much better, especially when sharing on Social Networks, if the preview were something like ”Learn To Play Go | OGS ” or something similar, ideally with some nice accompanying text
This applies to online-go.com/puzzles also, and probably a few other others non-game pages.
What do you think? Would it be possible to make such a change? (I for one can’t do it as I have close to zero coding skills )

TL;DR Please populate `og:title` with something descriptive!
**Describe the b… ug**
The forums try to pull relevant page data from websites that are posted to the forum. When a link is not on its own line, the link text is changed to the [Open Graph](https://ogp.me) title. The title for OGS is "Play Go at online-go.com! | OGS", but I believe this could be more descriptive.
Here's how all OGS links show up in the forums (when on the same line as other text):
<img width="385" alt="Screen Shot 2021-03-09 at 12 15 57 PM" src="https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/25233703/110510507-3f182800-80d1-11eb-943a-f9dfac06ffcf.png">
**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Go to Forums
2. Make a comment with a link in it, but make sure it is on the same line as some other text. e.g. ("Check out the Honinbo tournament: https://online-go.com/tournament/70977")
3. Note that when you post it, it shows up as "Play Go at online-go.com | OGS"
**Expected behavior**
A link like https://online-go.com/tournament/70977 should show up as "Honinbo Main Title Tournament 2021" or "Honinbo Main Title Tournament 2021 | OGS".
**Additional Context**
I looked into fixing this, but `OG_TITLE` seems to populated differently in prod (Gulpfile.js just populates it with an empty string), and I also can't tell if API calls in the Gulpfile are Kosher.
It was mentioned 5 years ago by Benjito, and then fixed by Anoek for (some) pages. So it’s very likely possible

its actually very easy to fix the preview

Awesome … @benjito , @anoek (and maybe @SoumyaK4 ?) … could you please apply some of your magic? <plink plink>
Agree i think it’s doable and straightforward, but does require access to the backend code so @anoek is the right person for it.
Some more routes enumerated here: Some more OpenGraph titles to fill in (can’t remember if these ones got fixed)

Oh wow … I totally missed that … thanks … and no, apparently none of these are fixed.

“Observe Games ” should def. also have a more telling preview, perhaps something like this: Watch Games | OGS , ideally also with some explaining text.
