I’m looking for recommendations for professional Go teachers in Munich who offer in-person lessons.
I can’t answer your question. I might be wrong but my guess is that there are none, since so few people teach go professionally in Europe. If my guess is correct then you might be interested in online lessons instead.
Idk about professional players, but you can join one on the go clubs in Munich. There you’ll find players up to 3 Dan which will give teaching games for free if you ask nicely.
There are follwing options:
- Tuesday in the Scheidplatz Cafe (6pm)
- Friday in the TUM University Arcisstreet (6pm)
for more Info visit: Munich
or you can request Lesson by Strong German Amateurs online.
and there are of course online schools like:
Essentially there aren’t too many professional players who teach around, but many do teach online. You can look up go schools like https://awesomebaduk.com/ or use as mentioned
to find teachers for example for online lessons. Many options these days.
On the other if you want a professional teacher for Go, Inseong Hwang for example described himself not as a professional since he’s like amateur 8d in Europe and ex insei, but rather as a professional teacher
Inseongs’ go school was also mentioned above
and you can be an observer and watch the lectures or play in the leagues.
But for quite a while until reaching low amateur dan level
this is probably good enough to learn a lot about the game!
