I think there is something wrong with this problem as R5 is wide open and black is alive by playing anywhere since O7 is one eye. Also moves like this do not make any sense:

I’m 99.99% sure the solution doesn’t make sense. I’ve never seen the original problem, but either the problem has an error or the solution has an error.
To start, what will White play when Black pushes at R5?
And why connect at R8 when you can just take the stone at T7?
Seems like the answer is not set for this variation?
