1000! What a patience! A bit like a triple ko you’ll play endlessly
I expect that max number of moves is 500, but not enough patience to find out
Does it matter if you forbid repetition of a board position? Even in this nice problem, repetition occurs much before 500
Well, in the article in the Dutch Go Magazine there was indeed a discussion about what ruleset to use in solving this problem.
But since the puzzle tool let me go on and on, I decide to go on and on for a while. Just for (some weird) fun.
Whatever rule set, there is no point to record more as a cycle.
