So I think I know the answer… but not sure so I’m asking.
Basically, If you join a tournament game, and your opponent receives a 4 stone handicap in the game, but then their rank improves to be the same as yours by the end of the correspondence game. Will my rank drop the same amount as if they maintained their original rank when receiving the handicap, or will it drop less?
From what I read, it will probably drop the same amount no matter what, but I just wasn’t sure.
