Rank Change

Hey,

My current rank is 5k, however, I haven’t played in 8 months or so, thus I am more likely a 15-20ish-k. (Not really sure where I should be, just not 5k for sure.)

Wondering if an admin can change. Thanks!

We cannot adjust your rank, but we do not need to! The system will take care of it very quickly on its own.
If you feel like your rank is way off from what it should be, all you need to do is play a few ranked games (preferably live, to make it quick) and it will quickly settle. If you really are in a hurry challenge a stronger player if you want your rank to grow quickly or a slightly weaker player to adjust in the opposite direction (use custom game to create a rank restricted challenge).

As flovo answered, just play a few ranked games and the system will rank you where you should be.

Also, I would be extremely surprised (even worried) if you went from 5k to 20k in 8 months. Once someone told me “I used to be 3d as a kid, but I haven’t played in 20 years” and boy did they beat me anyway

Sometimes rating improve just by not playing for a while…
