So I was playing my frist match with my friend on the call in chrome, and i went out of chrome to check my bus, but suddenly I was unable to access the game anymore could I probably get the game access moved from this Ehrengast040560 gast acc to my main acc? I am the black pieces

Not weird: it’s a private game.

If it’s a private (hence unranked) game, you could end it and your opponent can fork the game.

If it’s a paused game, no need to end it and fork it. They can just unpause and resume playing.

I don’t know how guest accounts work. Perhaps it’s not possible to use a guest account anymore once you’ve disconnected?

I’m not a guest account expert either but I thought that to get an avatar like “Ehrengast…” You had to provide a password, and so you could find your running games later.
In short my idea was you must give name+pwd for playing and then email for being registered.

Guest accounts are created by the system if an unlogged user clicks on a game challenge link, so you don’t have to provide a password:

"Challenge Links" aka "Invitation Links" are available

The basic idea is that you can get a URL for a challenge that you have created, and send it to another person, who can use that URL to find and accept the challenge. You can get the link to open challenges from the Play page. Anyone with the URL can “visit/click” the URL to get to a dialog that will let them accept it. If they aren’t an OGS user and they proceed, they will be created a Guest account to play with. If the person is logged out, but they are a member, they can log-in on the …

To get a regular account, you must give name and password but email is optional.

So the problem seems to be that if you are invited to play but later close the ongoing game and quit OGS you can’t come back?

That sounds pretty harsh, I wonder even why this is only the first time we hear about it (and why it hasn’t been anticipated)
