Is it possible to remove tournaments that I’ve resigned from my list?
Hm, they shouldn’t still be in your list after you’ve resigned, I’ll look into that.
Which tournament did you resign from that’s still in your list?
I think I may not have been accurate enough in my post. I meant the tournaments list, not the games list. Sorry!! 
There’s quite a few of them but here are a few examples https://online-go.com/tournament/3337, https://online-go.com/tournament/3106, https://online-go.com/tournament/2958 (with these last 2, I resigned in round 2 but they’re still in my tournaments list and I can still see the round 3 games),
Also, while I have your attention, may I ask you to end this tournament https://online-go.com/tournament/3089 please? There are only 2 players left and it’s stuck there. 
I pretty much have the same question. I joined this tournament that started in 2023 2023 Rounds Survival. Then I stopped playing Go for a while and got disqualified. Now since the tournament is still ongoing it’s still in my active tournaments list which is somewhat annoying.
I recall this observation some time back.
The rationale is that “it’s an ongoing tournament that you were part of, so it’s easy to find here for you to see how it ended up”.
I’m not saying that this is a compelling rationale, it’s just the explanation I recall.

Once they end, though, they disappear from both lists, so the tournaments page would be a better place to go to

For me it appears on both sites.
I understand the idea but that is actually a typical UX potential. The developer thought of the categories from a system perspective i.e. “what is the state of the tournament item” instead of from a user perspective i.e. “what is my personal involvement in the tournament”.
My recommendation
1. Replace “My Tournaments” with clearer wording
- Active or Ongoing
- User still competing
- default tab
- Completed
- user participated but it’s over for him
- optional filter or header to differentiate between active/finished tournaments
2. Move discovery into its own section
- Replace all three tabs with “Find Tournaments”
- Add filters instead, maybe even additional filters like size, ranks, etc.
Alternative recommendation (but more work at first)
- Use Smart Filters instead of using Tabs at all
- Top filter bar
- Status: Active, Eliminated, Finished
- Type: Live, Correspondence, Scheduled
- Size: 9x9, 13x13, 19x19
- Ranks: DDK, SDK, Dan
- Users can then combine filters, like
- Active + Live + 13x13 + SDK
- Finished + 9x9
Maybe use something like toggle chips for filtering.
