(For the uninitiated: I merely said that very few people play rengo, in general. That's not just me killing buzzes, that's my observation based on over 15 years of KGS rengo experience, where it has been notoriously difficult to find even just 3 people willing to play - regardless of ranks - even if 300+ people were not in a game. Chances were that if you offered rengo, the same people would join every single time (highhand and rats).)
It’s not only on kgs but a bit everywhere. (Goclubs, tournaments, other servers)
But it’s not because it is not a great time, maybe it just because it is not our original plan we have when we go play go.
I’m not good at predicting the future, i was one of those who never believed that AI may be pro levels, well not before decades. I hope the way we implement rengo and promote it will make a big difference, we’ll see.

Speaking of promoting etc: for those that missed it, there is an OGS Rengo channel, intended for matchmaking etc.
