Once in a while, I notice people making unnecessary or even malicious changes to already well-established translations. These are often just minor tweaks (like adding random commas) or outright trolling.
I believe that for popular languages that are near or at 100% completion, changes should only be made through a proper suggestion system and mutual agreement. If someone thinks the current wording can be improved, they should submit a suggestion instead of instantly applying the change.
Ideally, a change would require approval from at least 3 contributors before going live
Current problems:

Easy access to griefing: Checking the history of some words shows people not just making honest mistakes, but deliberately inserting slurs or nonsense. This forces the entire non-English community to see inappropriate translations for days until someone notices and fixes them

Opinions being expressed by directly overwriting translations instead of using suggestions

Most of the changes are unnecessary and often more harmful than helpful
To clarify: Iām requesting that once a language reaches a certain maturity threshold (for example 95% translated), it should switch to suggestion-only mode. This would prevent the issues described above.
Additionally, it would be great if suggestions could only be applied after receiving approval from at least 2-3 different accounts to further protect against griefing
