This is a match we do somewhat regularly, and I know I won but this time I had this haunting feeling afterward that either something in my opening or early midgame was wrong on a fundamental level…

Hoping someone could help me figure out what exactly this was.

Hi,

As far as I can see, black has played a few important moves in the midgame. the k13 move and some following ones. This was both importantly growing his side and reducing the potential of your moyo.
As he had already secured points in the corners, it could have been painful. possibly your feeling comes from there
