I’m not sure if the game can be finished normally at this point. Leira seems to have been pushed to the point of resignation, while apparently conceding that I am indeed innocent. KAOS indicates that they believe the game is ruined. And my last post was in jest, just to point out that it would have been incredibly manipulative by us robots, had I actually been a robot.
Maybe it’s because I’m not repelled by a messy situation, but I still think we could pretend nothing happened and keep it up.
I guess I should say a little more. At some point, the game had ended whether people liked it or not. I think that even if we had continued from there, the game was already pretty screwed up. I think that before that post, we had already reached a place that the game was over. I wouldn’t mind writing a story about it if we continued, but personally, if I was a player, I wouldn’t want to continue because the game kinda started really getting screwed up yesterday, with a bunch of action about it overnight(my time). We may have been able to continue from yesterday, but I don’t think it even would’ve worked if I tried to fix it right whenI came on.
Edit: written without the two comments made
I’m sorry for my last few posts, which were perhaps unnecessarily aggressive. I should really have counted to 10 (minutes) before making a reply.
Actually, I think I agree with this.
But in case we need another solution to reinforce the rules, we can additionally work under the assumption that everybody is trying to play the game fairly, and thus that any apparent ‘rule-bending’ is be seen as accidental and not to be viewed as a message with double meanings.
I like @Leira’s suggestion of communicating only through the GM, which would serve as yet another reinforcement of the rules.
About the game, I’m looking forward to which of the possible scenarios would have become the reality.
Especially since I have some intel telling me that several stories have been planned out already, depending on how the game progresses.
I think the game already started to get messed up right at the beginning, because of several unreliable players. Now after this argument, I don’t see much sense in playing further anymore. It would be great to have some kind of roleplay ending though. Maybe the story is how everybody gets in a fight and the town is deserted, so all of us survive.
Btw, what Gia said about “a bunch of adults”… Afaik, Ginger2008 was actually born in 2008, and I don’t think Sports_for_Life and 李建澔2 are that much older. So I never expected them to behave like adults - I think it’s important to be somewhat lenient with kids and don’t expect them to understand everything right away, and I also wouldn’t want to exclude someone for being “too young” or “too childish”, because I’ve seen 12-year-olds who were incredibly smart and more socially competent than some 40-year-olds. But in this case, with this combination of players, it just didn’t go well… It’s just extremely important to know the rules and to communicate a lot, especially if you are unsure about something, and that was not the case with everybody here.
Well I really had only thought out some of the endings, not even what would’ve happened after the vote. The vote would’ve been written this morning after I saw who was going to get lynched. I had also not planned all of the stories out that far, except for the one that would’ve happened if Haze had won. Well I had been thinking about the other ones, but they weren’t complete. Also the only thing I did have planned for the vote was that Milxey was going to sneak into the building and watch the vote go down.
I was referring to the rest of us actual adults.
Alright, I think we should kill Leira. Otherwise, the robots could (with two people) mess things up.
Um is the game still going on or not? I don’t even know at this point.
Well the poll closed already over an hour before @HHG’s latest post. I guess they missed the deadline and all of the drama.
I’m on it dude
Sorry for the delay. Errands don’t make themselves
EDIT: technically, it is night, so I’ll wait before posting. @Haze_with_a_Z what is the veredict about what happened during day closing?
Well I don’t have time to write a story right now, but it is currently 4-3 we continue(including me and a spectator). I guess we continue then, so I guess please do your night actions and see you again tomorrow. Also, I will allow night posting for the rest of the game because it isn’t like we haven’t had issues with it already. Unless a majority of players say that they don’t want to play anymore, I will keep the game going(well there has been talk about resigning but I don’t know what to think of it).
I don’t think I will influence the game when I say: I have a guess as to who of you is a robot and I’m curious to see if I’m right. Please keep playing
Ok, so we’re continuing and allowing night posting?
Could you clarify what happened with the vote at the end of the day? It seemed to be a 2-2 tie, which would kill both Leira and ginger, right? Or did I misunderstand the voting rules?
What were their roles? I was under the impression that they were both robots, but if that’s not the case, then maybe ginger was actually the assaulter?
Oh, you changed your vote? Yes, then both should be killed, according to the rules. That might be the fastest solution. (I had somewhat hoped for it, but thought it’s unlikely that would happen.)
Ok I just reread the voting rules and realized that there may have been an ambiguity, since not everyone voted for only two people, i.e. Leira voted for no one. So does that mean no one dies?
That wording is confusing since it was not a 3-way tie. Oh well, the robots should win now.
Edit: oh I see “no one” counts as a person and not just an abstention?
The condition “everyone has voted for 2 people” was not met.
That doesn’t have to mean
I think you found a case that is not clearly covered by the rules.
I didn’t notice @yebellz changed his vote when I wrote this. Game over
No matter how the rules are interpreted the innocents can’t win anymore. @Haze_with_a_Z should decide.
Ok everyone,
Does no one count as a person?
- Yes
- No
