From a recent game. Black missed the advantageous semeai, then white missed an oiotoshi, which ultimately resulted in this seki.
The best response to black 1 is apparently this move according to the AI. Because then white can save the 2 stones after the cut at A without the cut at B becoming a major issue. Just thought it was a funny shape.
