A couple of satisfyingly symmetric placements:
Whichever side Black descends on, White can connect to the other.
Interestingly. AI says that for the second one I could have played on the third line, but that seems much more complicated to defend.
ME, FOLLOWING JOSEKI:
In case you feel like more go board art
Or if you like go board art:
From a recent game. Black missed the advantageous semeai, then white missed an oiotoshi, which ultimately resulted in this seki.
The best response to black 1 is apparently this move according to the AI. Because then white can save the 2 stones after the cut at A without the cut at B becoming a major issue. Just thought it was a funny shape.
Kata plays another B2 bomber:
(Move 89 in bottom variation: KataGo 7 komi self-play - sunjang baduk games )
Remember how we avoided early 3-3 invasions until the AI tought us? I bet now we’ll all start to aim for B2 bombers!
Here’s a previous post in which Kata played two B2 bombers (as the same colour) in one game!
Only 32 moves later than the theoretical optimum. We are getting closer …
From my ongoing game against @xhu98 . Not sure what I should call it, but it looks… interesting.
