Show if friends currently play a live game

Would be nice to have small symbol in the friends list, when a friend is currently in a live game.
Could enhance kibitz culture with friends.

Hi I know the title is kinda vague, so I’ll try to make this short. I want to make a simple script that notifies me when a list of players (my firends playing a league) are starting a game so I could have a mail with a link to their game when they are starting (this could be extended, and actually useful for someone else). It is already an option to filter for friends in the Watch section, but that feature is rather hidden.
The friends list is way more prominent.
