Show initial pairing in DE Tournaments

Hi!
I don’t know if this was already discussed, but I didn’t find it.

My proposal is to show the typical branch layout even in the very first pairing for DE tournaments.
I’m playing some of them and they are taking a lot of time to end the first matches. Counting the “green” and “black” players I can see how many matches remain to end, but without a huge research of every “black” player games is impossible to know which matches are still being played.

If this is too much complex to implement or isn’t the best solution, maybe setting a different background color for “playing” players will help too, like “blue” or “yellow”.

Thank you very much!

Assuming that you talk about this type of tournament

you will find in the tournament info both the initial and the subsequent pairing method is slide

Now you only have to google “tournament pairing slide” to know the system of pairing that is used.

Furthermore on the tournament page you will see

Maybe I misinterpreted your request (or the type of DE tournament you refer to) , but I wonder what more info do you want?

Hi Atorrante!

Thank you for your reply.

I just realize that there is the matches and the tournament tree is forming! I though it was just an unordered list of players instead of the pairing for the fisrt round.

Thank you!
