How is a non-provisional rank calculated for a new player? Does it require a certain minimum volatility of rank or rating, such as less than ±5 ranks or less than ±200 ratings points, perhaps?

Provisional rank ends at rank uncertainly value of 160.

To be fair, you had to answer in rating, because it’s nonlinear. There isn’t one correct value for provisional uncertianly limit in terms of rank. (Right?)
