Explaining how ranks work,yes! and not give too quick access to the rank system, by a self declaration to be a beginner from the start (instead of the beginner self determining his rank). OGS then will give the correct first ranking.
Side note: after being rejected by 1k bot, this beginner will be rejected by beginner level bots because his rank will be… too high!

FYI to all concerned, a rengo bounty thread has recently been opened. anoek hasn’t commented yet but I figure commenters in this thread would want to know.
I’d be willing to donate money for this purpose, questions:
are there already plans to implement Rengo?
are there already donations specifically for implementing Rengo?
how much would be needed?
how long would it take the devs to implement approximately?

FWIW, anoek has recently commented that he is actually working on Rengo, among other things.
It’s not a question of “if”, only of “when”.
