Streaming Championships feature

As a player on OGS, I think it’s an incredible platform. The diversity of puzzles and bots is really impressive, and while I haven’t explored them all yet, it’s already clear how much variety there is. It’s amazing to have so many bots and puzzles available. However, there’s one feature I feel is missing: Board Streaming.

I apologize if some of the text appears in Chinese. My default language is set to English, but for some reason, it still shows in Chinese. I’ve noticed that even though the games are over, I remember seeing up to 15 games active yesterday. It would be fantastic if OGS could implement board streaming, as it would create more opportunities to learn and improve at Go.

For instance, on platforms like Fox, AI analyzes games in real-time, providing win rates, variations, and detailed data. I believe OGS could take this idea even further, especially since it already has such a rich range of puzzles and bots. It would be an amazing addition to an already great platform!

What do you all think?

Yes I think that stream is something to develop too. But there are still limitations. For example I noticed that there are big delays and that’s annoying when reviewing with someone else. Besides I guess that it’s something difficult to develop and I dunno to which level OGS can afford such development.

Did you check gotv on OGS (using Twitch)?

Check out our BadukClub streams on Twitch
I’ve created a system where a top down camera records the board of a live tournament, sends the video to Video Kifu to then be broadcast into OGS, when I then use a custom katago ai to do live evaluation and display all of that on stream
